Expressing appreciation for the support given to the company at Lethem, Digicel Guyana last week began to express its gratitude with the first ever ‘Dine With Us’ to be held in Region Nine.
Approximately 60 guests gathered at the Savannah Inn Hotel and Restaurant for dinner with the telephone company. Guests included members of the Rupununi Chamber of Commerce, executive members of Digicel and friends of both organisations.
President of the Rupununi Chamber, John Macedeo, and Dwayne Scott of Digicel, expressed mutual appreciation for the interaction between the organisations.
A Blackberry phone donated by Digicel was won by Gavin Gupta Baboollal, who received his prize from Ms. Nellie Vieira, head of sales and distribution.
Showing more appreciation for Digicel users, a prize for electronic top up was won by Sherry Ann Mann, who received a Nokia 863 phone.
And Debra Nicholas was rewarded with the first ever vendors sale time prize for work done with the electronic top up. She received her prize from Kenrick Philips of Digicel.
