In de States de cell phones causing problem. Dem have some real stupid people who driving and texting at de same time. Dem killing people.
Then dem have people who refusing to talk pun de phone. Instead dem using de phone to read newspapers; watch movies and even find long lost relatives.
In this country, dem had one reporter who tek de use of a phone to new levels. Lewoy phone never got credit suh he get into de habit of texting ‘call me’ to people and nuff of dem stupid enough to call.
Well he was reporting on events at a function for de disabled and he wanted to interview one of de speakers—a blind man.
Dem boys drop down laughing. Lewoy send a text to a blind man. And he had de nerve to go back to de office and report how de man did not respond to he message.
Then dem have de man who suppose to build de hydro road. He like Lewoy. He never build a road in de same way how de blind man never read a text. But dem boys seh that in Guyana roads don’t have to last. Once dem tek one car de job done.
