In a joint effort to further celebrate the life of the late Colin Wiltshire, a product of Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) and a former national middle order batsman, DCC and its New York Chapter will be hosting a memorial.
Richard Thompson and Burch Moore will be handing over a plaque in his memory which will be given a place of honour in the club.
Last December the club held a Church service and unveiling of a space to recognize the life of the late Wiltshire.
The NY Chapter, represented by Carlyle Miller, a former British Guiana fast bowler, DCC and the Guyana Cricket Board jointly held a night of reflection and remembrance for the late Wiltshire. The event saw many present and former national players, administrators and fans paying their respects to this sporting figure.
All members of DCC are invited to this simple presentation in the club pavilion on Saturday May 24 at 19:00hrs. Refreshments will be available after the ceremony.
