Dear Editor,
I would like to plead with Government to have a heart and license Berbicians to operate a TV and radio station.
The two privately-owned stations are doing well but imagine NCN, which is run by the people of Guyana has left much to be desired.
Yes, we’re having daily IPL Cricket but look at NCN’s daily programme schedule. NCN Berbice appears to be in the wilderness.
Sometimes they put on ads of events and programmes which already took place.
Recently there was one in which the moderator was interviewing two senior police officers about plans for Easter Monday. Easter Monday had happened a few days ago, when that programme was aired.
It’s a shame to see NCN perform this way. It is appearing as if there are no management skills at NCN Berbice. NCN, I would like someone to tell me who the directors of this NCN Berbice station are. You have put persons who are an embarrassment to the Government and NCN.
Let’s have a trained staff to govern this station. You have a man there who is an embarrassment to the party presently in government.
