Digicel is the latest corporate entity to lend support to the organisers of the May 1 & 2 Regatta. Shonette Moore of Digicel’s Public Relations Department handed over the cheque to the SASS Studio Executive member Sameer Bacchus at the Kingston Head Office on Monday.
SASS Studio, a Linden based Promotional Group headed by the experienced Shalliza Allie, will bring off what is anticipated to be a thrilling two-days of powerboat racing, canoe and jet ski races with 1.5 million in prizes on offer.
The action will not only be water based as the organisers have put together a Twenty20 cricket competition.
