A 33-year-old Guyanese national is warded in critical condition at a hospital in Trinidad after he was shot at his home in Sangre Grande, East Trinidad.
Reports from Trinidad are that at approximately 22:45hrs on Thursday, Mohammed Abdullah, of Ali Drive in Coalmine, was with his wife and two sons when two men dressed in black called out to him.
Upon venturing outside the men confronted Abdullah and accused him of not honouring an agreement.
One of the men then whipped out a handgun and shot him at point blank range, in the abdomen and legs.
He was taken to the district hospital and later transferred to the Mt Hope Medical Sciences Complex.
Sergeant Dubai, WPCs Castillano and Edwards are spearheading investigations.
