The Floodlight A & B Squads from Georgetown and East Coast Demerara have named their sides that will travel to Crabwood Creek on Sunday, April 18, to play a series of fundraising softball matches for the CWC Sanatan Mandir.
Their opponents have also named strong outfits to contest the games set to start from 9:30am when the CWC Heroines play last year winner Corriverton Queens for the Prakash Singh Memorial Trophy in a female encounter.
The second match will see Floodlights A battling Vishnu Superstore, with the third match between Floodlights B and Scottsburg United for the Bier Singh Memorial Trophy.
Admission is $100, and regardless of weather proceedings will start on time. Bier Singh and Prakash Singh Memorial Trophies are sponsored by Ganesh Singh & Brothers, Saw millers and Loggers of CWC. The other trophies will be sponsored by Vishnu Hardyal of Vishnu Superstore in Springlands.
