City Hall has upgraded its revenue collection system with the reintroduction of computers at the Treasury. It replaces the manual system that was ceased in December last year; according to Deputy Mayor Robert Williams.
He said that any person who visits the Treasury would be able to receive a print out of their taxes owed.
He added that demand notices would be produced for all 28,000 property owners, and action would be taken on large property owners who have not sought to benefit from the concession given December last.
The Deputy Mayor revealed some have changed the use of their properties from residential to commercial and are paying residential rates, and documentations are in process for the different forms of actions that will be taken.
