The finals of the Mayor Hamilton Green 75th birthday 7-a-side football tournament will be contested at the Tucville ground on Friday.
The final two teams through to this stage were decided on Sunday at the same venue when quarter-final action was held.
Alpha overcame the Guyana Defence Force 5-4 on penalty kicks after the contest ended 0-0 after regulation and extra time. Crane then sprung a major upset, getting past Western Tigers 3-2.
Charles Stoby, Dellon Ramkissoon and Jomo Petty were on target for Crane while Gavin Wilson and Nedd Fraser scored for the Tigers.
The semi-final line up will see Pele tackling Crane, while Alpha challenge Riddim Squad.
The winners advance to the final, while the losers collide in the third place playoff.
Setting the tone from 6:00pm Friday, supporting action pits West side against Festival City/Uitvlugt, Leopold Street versus Houston/Thomas lands, Charlotte Street against GFC/Den Amstel and Campbellville facing Mahaica/Agricola.
The winners in this mini preliminary tourney will battle a semi-final and final.
