Mashramani activities at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall have ruled Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) reportedly out of usage of the venue until those activities conclude some time after February 23.
Contacted yesterday for information on the fixture for the remainder of the first and third division Leagues that were ongoing at the venue, GABA Secretary, Robert Cadogan said that no games were scheduled on that development.
“We were only informed today about that. Mash activities have postponed our tourney at the Sports Hall until maybe after Mash (which is February 23),” he said, adding that they would have gotten around to a media circular.
The GABA Division I and III competition was now heating up following its first week of competition last week. The tournament was set as the first major one of the 2010 Season for the Georgetown sub-association.
