Double header on today at Grove ground
As first round action in the Stag Beer sponsored East Bank Football Association (EBFA) division-one league draws to a close, the battle for a place in the second round which is limited to four of the seven competing teams, heats up.
Already securing their places in the final four are Timehri Panthers, Grove Hi Tec and Yarrowkabra with the tussle for the final spot well and truly on.
The Three teams in with a chance of taking the final spot are Kuru Kururu Warriors (9 points; 2 games to play), Mocha Champs (7 points; 2 to play) and Soesdyke Falcons (6 points; 1 one to play).
Facing off this afternoon at the Grove ground, Mocha Champs engage Kuru Kururu Warriors in the main event with opening play featuring Kuru Kuru Lions and Soesdyke Falcons from 13:00hrs.
