Mackenzie Secondary, Linden Foundation and Christianburg / Wismar were the latest teams to register wins as play in the Edward ‘Screw’ Richmond Memorial Schools Football Competition continued in Linden.
Mackenzie Secondary inflicted a crushing 7-1 win over Marcie Craig Foundation Institute through a brace apiece from C. Charles (8, 18) and Rodwell Relmis (62, 63) and single strikes of the boots of Ron Fiedtkou (30), Germis Batson (32) and Terrence Aaron (66). Netting the consolation goal for the losers was Charles Owen (46).
In the other matches, Linden Foundation defeated Wismar Secondary by a 3-0 margin with Darrel George (55, 70) tucking in a double, while Jamal Watson added the other. Christianburg / Wismar Secondary then beat School of Excellence 5-0 with Denzil Pryce (26), Jermaine Batson (44), Clarence Huggins (46), Marley Davidson (67) and Rondell Arthur (69), the players on target.
