NUMBER FIFTY-SEVEN VILLAGE, CORENTYNE – Police in Division ‘B’ of the Guyana Police Force are probing the circumstances that led to the death of 28-year-old, Ravendra Roopnarine, of Number Fifty-eight Village, Corentyne.
The man subsequently died at the New Amsterdam Hospital where he was being treated after he was struck by a car on December 31.
At the time of the incident, Ravendra Roopnarine and two other cyclists were travelling along the Number Fifty-seven Village Public Road about 20:00 hours. The driver of the car was assisting police with investigations.
