Dear Editor,
I am sick with the so called intellectual debate and the use of ‘highflying’ language in dealing with Guyana’s problems.
Such academic terms as, “macro economic fundamentals,” and “paradigm shifts” used by Government propagandists only serve to confuse, distort and brain wash ordinary people.
Guyanese need basic services: electricity, food, water and housing at affordable prices. They need jobs and decent wages. And they need to live in a clean and safe environment. Here is where our energies need to be focused.
We have been engaged for two long in PPP-PNC politicking, racial blaming and historical fabrication. And decades have gone by with little to show in terms of all round development.
