Christmas is in the air and what better way to add to the spirit of this period than listening to your favourite Christmas carols and songs performed by the renowned Guyana Police Force Band and Joint Services Choir.
As usual the band will entertain at several locations in and around the city beginning today on the East Bank of Demerara.
The programme commenced yesterday with a performance by the police force band at the Soesdyke junction, extending a warm Guyanese Christmas welcome to visitors.
The band then proceeded to the Soesdyke Primary School and later entertained at the Grove/Diamond New Scheme Junction, before concluding the day’s performance at 13:00 hours at the Peter’s Hall Harbour Bridge Mall.
Today, the Police Band would be at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital (Military Band & Joint services choir; Wales Police Station (Steel Band); Bagotville Centre Entrance (Steel Band); Orphanage (Sparendaam) (Military Band & Joint services choir) and Vreed-en-Hoop Stelling, (Steel Band).
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
