F&H Printing Est. / Inter Jamaat cricket continues tomorrow

The F&H Printing Establishment sponsored Muslim Youth Organization of Guyana 10 overs Inter-Jamaat Softball round-robin round hand cricket competition will continue on Sunday with a total of 10 matches to be contested.
At the MYO ground from 09:00hrs, the home team will battle Land of Canaan who will be involved in back to back matches when they also face Mohammed’s X1 from 19:30hrs. Farm C square off with Mon Repos from 12:00hrs, Triumph and Daimond New Scheme oppose each other from 13:30hrs with the final game of the day between Queenstown and Plaisance.
Over at the National Park, New Mosque comes up against Sunfoods, Farm A meets LBI, New Mosque will be in action again when they face off with Farm B, Sunfoods play Corneila Ida, Farm B squares off with Success and Corneila Ida will play their second game of the day against Success.
In latest results from matches played at the MYO ground, De Edward lost to Land of Canaan and MYO, Corneila Ida got past Farm B, Mohammed’s XI defeated Providence while Queenstown won by walkover from Mocha Arcadia.
Scores: De Edward batted first and made 91-7 in their allotted 10 overs. Asif Ahmad led with 32. Bowling for Land of Canaan, Martin Dookie picked 2-10 and Shazam Ali 1-12. Land of Canaan in reply eased to 93-1 in 7.1 overs. Shafeek Ishmail struck 67* and Shazam Ali 9*.
MYO took to the crease first against De Edward and compiled a challenging 165 without losing a wicket. Zulficar Ali smashed 95 and Wasim Haslim 56. De Edward were limited to 120-9 with Ayube Yassin hitting 27 and Asif Ahmad 23.
Azad Ibrahim returned the best bowling figures for MYO with 3-16.
Batting first against Farm B, Corneila Ida posted 142-3 with Salim Mohammed slamming 76 and Ameer Mahmood 39. Farm B were sent packing for 79 in response. For the winners, Naeem Khalil picked up the 3-3.
