Play in the Banks Power Stout tapeball cricket tournament continues this evening at the Banks DIH, Thirst Park ground with several matches starting at 5:00pm.
The tourney has been sponsored by the beverage giants, GNSC, Giftland office max, Ray’s Auto Spares, Trophy Stall and organised by Guyana Tapeball League in association with the Guyana Softball League.
The fixtures for today:
Laluni Sports Club versus Yard Dam Sports Club
Igloo XI versus Bio – Medical Engineering XI
Fire Stars XI versus Rebel United SC
Lions XI versus Beauty World XI
Wales CDC versus Seven Warriors XI
The umpires in charge will be Ravendra Ramgobin and Mark Ernest. The first two rounds will be on two game knockout basis and thereafter on a one round knockout basis and teams are remind to be at the thirst park ground for a prompt start at 5.00 PM.
Teams are reminded that no player will be allowed onto the field with short pants and those teams wishing to join can contact the following persons: Kurt Wilson – 643-4618 and Leonard Harprashad on number 646-0568.
