…owner and horse now in custody
In a twist of events, the owner of the ‘E’ Field Sophia horse, which was reportedly sexually violated by another resident of the area, is now in police custody.
The horse is also impounded at the Turkeyen Police Station awaiting an examination by the police force veterinarian.
The reason for the man’s detention is unclear, but the horse will be examined.
The man who was reportedly caught having sex with the horse was released after the file returned from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and recommended that no charges be laid against him.
The suspected horse lover is said to be the son of a senior police officer and a popular city tout that will ply his trade at the Route 48 bus park.
On the day of the incident, the horse owner said that he tied the animal to its cart and did not see it when he returned.
This had prompted the man to search for the horse.
The man recalled that when he got to the end of the street in a secluded area he saw (name given) on a bucket. “I see this man pun one a dem big white bucket wukking way”.
He said that he didn’t make much of the situation since he could not believe a human being would do such a thing.
However, he decided to take a closer look, it was then that he saw (name given) without clothes performing the beastly act.
The horse owner said by this time the man saw him and ran into some nearby bushes.
