Defending Coca Cola division one champions and points leaders New Amsterdam United is poised to win back to back titles.
In their latest game the youthful and skillful NAU combination powered their way to a resounding 9-0 win over Barzilla at the Blairmont Community Centre ground on Saturday last.
The Adam’s brothers Adrian ‘Garnett’ and Leonardo were clinical form as they accounted for 8 of the goals.
Big brother and leading goal scorer Adrian blasted the nets six times, taking his personal tally in the tournament to 15. Leonardo drilled in two of his own with the other strike converted y Kelvin Joseph.
Rosignol United, currently competing in the Guyana Football Federation National Super League were scheduled to play NAU but did not show up handing latter full points which takes the rampant side to an unassailable 22 points with one game in hand against the lowly placed Scotsburg United.
