Dear Editor,
The people of Honduras are in a state of panic as a result of the “siege” declared by the de facto government.
All human rights are suspended and there is much fear that reprisals will be taken in this situation against those who took part in street protests, and threats are already levelled against editors of the radio stations.
Our prayers and solidarity must go out to the people of Honduras.
Fr. Malcolm Rodrigues S. J.
