Sep 26, 2009 Letters
Dear Editor,
It is with deep sorrow that I write to express my sincere condolences to the family of the late Randolph Gordon, who passed away on September 24, 2009.
I met Mr. Gordon some years ago while working with the Georgetown District of the PNCR, and this gentleman I can only describe as a most peaceful, humble, and decent person who exhibited tremendous passion to see the education programme of the district succeed. His customary gentle mannerism, calm demeanour and permanent smile allowed for anyone to have a ready conversation.
As my young friends at President’s College would say, he was a Guidance Counselor that you felt comfortable talking with.
May his soul rest in peace.
