Essequibo left arm spinner Andrew Wong bagged four wickets for two runs as his team Rising Star defeated New Uprising by 73 runs in the Busta 20/20 cricket competition which continued last Sunday in Bartica with one match.
At the Bartica Community Centre Ground, Rising Star batted first and scored 116 all out in 16 overs. Sean Garraway top scored with 32 and Yusuf Khan made 22 as Ronston Lindore grabbed 3-34 and Marlon Proheiro 2-12.
New Uprising in reply were skittled out for 43 in 10 overs. Garraway supported Wong with 3-4 for the winners.
The competition continues on Sunday with two games.
