Cricket buffs would be in for a treat when floodlight cricket returns to the GCC Ground, Bourda tomorrow with two exciting T20 softball matches. In the first match Floodlight ‘A’ will oppose a special squad comprising players from Ganesh Singh & Brothers Sawmill of Crabwood Creek for the Sankar Auto Works Trophy.
Managing Director of Sankar Auto Works, Sase Sankar will sponsor this match while Managing Director of Petama Enterprise, Petamber Maharaj sponsors the second match between Floodlight ‘B’ and a powerful Scottsburg United lineup.
Both encounters are return matches following victories by both Upper Corentyne teams at the Crabwood Creek Cricket Ground earlier this year. The Floodlights teams will be at home this time around and would be using this advantage to exact revenge. The first match gets underway at 17:00hrs and admission is free. The full squads read:
