What a mess at Charity wharf

Dear Editor,
I recently visited the Pomeroon and was shocked to see the way how garbage is being dumped at the wharf at Charity.
This seems to be going on for a long time now; anyone passing through the wharf can’t miss this nasty scene, it seems like no one in authority cares.
Most of the residents living near the river depend on the river water for everyday use. Is this the way we will continue to treat our water ways?
