The Rastafari Patriarchs Masters Football team has secured sponsorship from “Ketch-a- Fire, Guyana Inc.”
The team which was established in 2005 is one of the top teams in the local Masters League and will now been known as the Treez Wrap Rastafari Patriarchs.
In handing over a set of uniforms and football equipment to the side CEC, Quincy Andrews said that his company is “…pleased to partner with the Patriarchs and is looking forward to the continued success and relationship with the side”
Manager of the Patriarchs, Allan La Rose thanked “Ketch-a-Fire” for providing the much needed assistance and promised that the team would strive to maintain a winning image at all times. The Patriarchs which is the brainchild of the Manager are getting ready for their much anticipated confrontation with their ‘Baldhead’ counterparts on Saturday August 22.
Meanwhile the Patriarchs have received more support for this weekend’s biennial event -Rasta vs. Baldhead. Guyenterprise, Lens Craft Optical, Oasis Water and King of Kings Vegetarian Cuisine have all made contributions towards the successful staging of the Masters Football Classic. AH Sports have also contributed the balls to be used during the game.
The organisers are still hopeful of Banks DIH, who have contributed significantly to the staging of the first two Series, coming on board for this year’s event.
