A 31-year-old sailor was yesterday remanded to prison by Magistrate Melissa Robertson on larceny charges
It is alleged that between June 3 and June 10, in the Arimu Backdam, Jason Colinet, a porkknocker of Mongrippa Hill, Bartica, stole a quantity of dredging equipment, food stuff, kitchen utensils, two drums and other items from Albert Henry, all amounting to the above mentioned sum.
Colinet pleaded not guilty.
He was refused bail and will return to Bartica for a continuation of his matter on August 5.
