The two motorcycle collision that had claimed the lives of 21-year-old Ragnauth Narine, of Johanna Cecilia, and 40-year-old Mahendranauth Deonarine, of Lima Housing Scheme, on Saturday at La Belle Alliance, Essequibo Coast, is still hurting the relativess.
However, the two survivors are said to be in a stable condition. Narine died on the spot at the La Belle Alliance Public Road, while Deonarine was rushed to the Suddie Public hospital where he died before receiving medical attention.
According to a police report, on Saturday, Deonarine was proceeding north along the Essequibo Coast Public Road. Narine was proceeding in the opposite direction.
The report stated that Deonarine attempted to overtake a car that was proceeding in the same direction when his motor cycle collided with Narine’s. Ragnauth died on the spot.
Today, a senior administrator attached to the Suddie Public Hospital said that the two other survivors, Parbatie and pillion rider Roy McCoy, are recovering slowly.
Parbattie who hails from Annandale, East Coast Demerara is said to have received a fractured pelvic, while McCoy sustained head injuries.
