deals cheaper than comparative offerings for ICC CWC 2007
Hospitality packages are already available for next year’s ICC World Twenty20 West Indies 2010, it was announced on Saturday.
The packages are available both locally and internationally with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) designing, managing and implementing an official hospitality programme itself.
Two types of hospitality are available, the Century Dining package and the Boundary the Boundary Suite package.
Both will be competitively priced and will be cheaper than comparative packages for the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2007. Prices will be confirmed and announced in the near future.
Kensington Oval Management Inc., the Guyana Cricket Board and the St Lucia National Cricket Association will all benefit from being Official Hospitality Sales Agents (OHSAs), with their appointments guaranteeing revenue will go back to the game in each host nation.
Leading worldwide firms including the Cavendish Group (UK) will be marketing and selling packages throughout the world and further agents will be announced in the coming weeks.
ICC WT20 2010 Tournament Director Ernest Hilaire said: “The ICC World Twenty20 West Indies 2010 will offer great value to all spectators through competitive ticket prices and the corporate hospitality sector will be no exception.
“The fact the West Indies Cricket Board is running its own official hospitality programme is an exciting development for the region, and with Kensington Oval Management Inc., the Guyana Cricket Board and the St Lucia National Cricket Association among the official sales agents it will ensure that revenue they generate will stay within the host nations and the game of cricket in those nations.”
The hospitality programme will be managed by Tom Roche as Project Director on behalf of the WICB from the ICC WT20 West Indies 2010 tournament office in St Lucia.

Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
