Twenty-five Guyanese nationals residing in Trinidad and Tobago illegally were held Tuesday night in East Trinidad by officers of the Northern Division task force
The officers teamed up with officers of the Immigration Department and carried out an exercise in Tunapuna and St Joseph, which led to the detaining of the illegal migrants who officers said were being housed in various apartments in Macoya.
Officers also detained 10 men on robbery and shooting charges and other outstanding warrants.
The exercise was spearheaded by Cpl Junior Bernard of the Northern Division task force and Woman Police Constable Hector of the Immigration Department
