General Registrar’s Office ‘A’ (GRO) team came out victors of the Len’s Craft Optical sponsored Home Affair’s Ministry inter-department female domino competition, which was contested on Friday afternoon last on the Lawns of the Ministry, Brickdam.
GRO ‘A’ tallied 21 games to win in a tight tussle ahead of their ‘B’ team by one point with Home Affairs Secretariat finishing a close 3rd on 19 games.
The victors were led by Nicole London (captain) and included Letizia Nichols and Beverly Nedd.
The runners-up were made up of Lavern Austin (captain), Heather Johnson and Karen Adams. Home Affairs team comprised of Alicia Trotz, Roxanne Mayers and captain, Denise Baveghens.
The winners pocketed $10,000, compliments of Len’s Craft Optical and trophy donated by Academy of Precious Ones.
Assisting with the presentation of prizes were Ovid Glasgow and Home Affairs Organising Secretary, Gavin Kellman.
