The river tragedy occurred and there is more because the spirit of the waves wants Guyanese lives. And the Guyanese are all too happy to comply because they take unnecessary risks.
The unlighted ballahoo is going to be ample target because the pilot would refuse to attach a lighted lantern to a mast of sorts.
The speeding craft approaching the ballahoo will see the danger too late. The result will be as deadly as the recent Abary tragedy.
*******************************
A speeding car is going to spin out of control and crash into a ditch with fatal consequences. The police would insist that people refrain from speeding and despite the recent passage of the law to allow for the use of the breathalyzer people will insist on what some say is a culture.
The owner of the car is going to insist that his vehicle was stolen but neighbours are going to say otherwise.
Meanwhile, the fallout from the crash would reverberate all the way to the top because a relative is going to be involved.
*******************************
The gunmen are out again but this time they are nothing but boys who have been provided with a gun.
Mothers, rather than urge that these boys desist, will actually encourage them as would be the case of one Sophia household.
The deadly police action would spark cries of murder.
Where is the BETTER MANAGEMENT/RENEGOTIATION OF THE OIL CONTRACTS you promised Jagdeo?
