Esse Peters was re-elected to serve his fourth consecutive term as the President of the Buxton Carl Hooper Cricket Club, when the East Coast entity held its Annual General Meeting, Sunday last.
Troy Adams and Mervin Cole were elected first and second Vice-Presidents respectively, while Eron Thomas will serve as Secretary and Marlon Thomas Treasurer.
John Hart, Jason Adams and Denis Andries are the Disciplinary Committee members, with left-handed batsman Rawle Fredericks as Club Captain.
Peters thanked everyone for their support over the last few years and said he was looking forward to continued support in the future.
The club hopes to start an Under-15 and Under-19 nursery section this year, but funding for the youth section of the club is a major problem. Peters encouraged the business community to assist cricket in Buxton, by providing sponsorship for their developmental programmes.
Anyone interested in making a contribution can call the club’s President on telephone number 220-9897.
