A mother is seeking the help of the general public to save the life of her son, who requires open heart surgery.
Two-year-old Zephaniha Ramnarayan was last August diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot – a heart defect – and needs to undergo the surgery.
The Frontier Lifeline Hospital in Chennai, India, has agreed to do the surgery through Kids First Fund, for US$8,200.
The child is due to travel on May 22, however, the family also needs to raise the airfare to India, which costs approximately US$6,000 for the mother and child.
The mother, Farah Narayan, is appealing to the public for help. Anyone wishing to donate may do so by making deposits in their Republic Bank account: 2068112.
Anyone wishing more information before they donate can contact the family on telephone numbers 698-0673 or 615-4587.
