Alpha United opened the floodgates on Flamingo with an 8-1 hiding in last Sunday’s action in the Georgetown Football Association Premier League at the Tucville ground.
Shawn Bishop helped himself to a hat-trick in the 18th, 83rd and 89th minutes, while doubles were recorded by Kelvin Smith (9th, 68th) and Howard Lowe (22nd, 54th) with Quincy Madramootoo completing the tally in the 56th minute.
Leon Alleyne made the lone response for Flamingo.
In the second match, Sunburst Camptown got the better of BK Western Tigers, thanks to a late strike by the experienced Troy Prescod in the 81st minute.
The tournament continues on Friday at the same venue from 6:00pm with GFC opposing Pele, while at 8:00pm GDF come up against Fruta Conquerors.
