With the Netrockers Football Club / Linden Town Week under-19 final set for this Sunday at the Bayrock Community ground, BOSAI Minerals Group (Guyana) has handed over a cheque to the organisers in keeping with an earlier commitment.
President of the organising club Collis Gifth received the cheque from BOSAI Minerals Group representative Faye Cadogan-Dainty.
Cadogan-Dainty expressed her company’s delight at having the opportunity to support the development of the youths in Linden. Gifth in response thanked BOSAI on behalf of the club for their tangible support.
A number of other entities have chipped in to support the competition which will end on Sunday when Netrockers face Winners Connection in the final.
Among those sponsors are the Ministry of Culture, Youths and Sports, Bai Shan Lin Sawmilling Inc., CLICO Insurance Guyana, COABS Auto Spares, Linmine Secretariat, International Pharmaceutical Agency, BOLO’s Variety Store, Mr. Leonard Johnson, Fraser’s Trucking Services and KTN Stock Feed and General Store.
“We are really thankful to those entities that were still able to contribute in what ever little way they did since the tournament was still able to go on without any problems and more importantly achieve its main objective and that was to ensure that junior football is being played in Linden.
We think the clubs have responded well with their overwhelming support and we will continue to take these initiatives.”
