Cyclists will be back in action this Saturday when they compete at the 5th annual Universal Auto & General Supplies 11-race cycling programme set for the inner circuit of the National Park.
A new champion in the feature 35-lap race will be crowned since last year’s winner, Alonzo Greaves along with a number of other leading riders are competing in Trinidad and Tobago.
Jason Pollydore, who took top honours in the juvenile 10-lap contest last year, is expected to defend his title.
The usual races will be contested which include BMX, upright and veteran categories.
Manager of the sponsor, Shameer Baksh, himself a veteran competitor, will be on hand to assist with the presentation of prizes. Race time on Saturday is 09:00hrs.
