The semi-finals of the inaugural Milo under-21 football competition will be contested tomorrow evening at the Tucville ground and it has all the ingredients for an entertaining evening.
The best out of the lot will tangle when the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) match skills with Pele and in the clash of the Juices once again, it will be Sunburst Camptown tackling Fruta Conquerors.
In the final two quarter-final games played on Sunday evening at the Tucville ground, Camptown through a Chris Camacho first half goal needled Santos, while Fruta Conquerors outplayed a clueless BK International Western Tigers, 3-0.
Conquerors took the attack to their opponents from the first whistle and soon found out that their opponents were not a focused unit and surely did not have a plan.
They (Conquerors) capitalised on this to bang in three first half goals which virtually sealed the win for them. Kacy John netted a double by rocking the nets in the 31st and 39th minute.
Eon Allen accounted for the other goal in the 36th minute as Conquerors closed out the Tigers in a ten minute span.
The battle for a place in the final will be exciting and fans can look forward to these match-ups tomorrow evening at the Tucville ground. Kick off time is set for 18:00hrs. (Franklin Wilson)
