‘A’ Division’s male and female teams were unstoppable when semi-final action in the Guyana Police Force Inter Division domino competitions was contested recently.
Dwayne Roberts and Dwayne Mingo tallied 16 games with 15 each from Dale Alves and Leon Simon as ‘A’ Division tallied 84 games to comfortably beat ‘C’ Division 10 games back on 74 and ‘G’ Division lagging in the cellar on 68. James Fordyce chipped in with 14 for the winners.
The game high 17 was marked by ‘C’ Division’s Edmond Dutchin while Edmond Cooper had 27, playing through.
Regon Dewson (14) and Mondley Mc Farlene with 13, led for ‘G’ Division.
On the distaff side, ‘A’ Division again were the boss marking a whopping 93 games to hammer into second place Headquarters with 68 and ‘C’ Division stuttering on 54.
The maximum 18 games were scored by ‘A’ Division’s Roxanne Sandy and Allana Campbell who received excellent support from Denise Griffith and Desinee Phillips with 15 each, Jenifer Griffith contributed 14.
The top markers for Headquarters were Alverane Jaundoo (15) and Judy Sandiford (14). The lone player in double figures for ‘C’ Division was Cecelia Garnette with 14.
Strolling down lovers lane were Ann Thompson and Beverly Williams of Headquarters, Gillian Graham and Natasha Wills of ‘C’ Division.
