When competition in the Banks DIH sponsored Coca Cola under-15 round-robin competition organised by the Georgetown Football Association continued on Sunday last.
There was a massive win for Renaissance over Beacon by an 11-0 margin, while also recording victories were Fruta Conquerors who nailed Georgetown Football Club 7-0, Uprising won 4-0 over Flamingo, Santos defeated Sunburst Camptown by a similar score line while Thomas United took care of Riddim Squad 4-1.
Orchestrating Renaissance’ win was Selwyn Williams who slammed in five goals (7, 12, 13, 31, 32 & 50).
There was a brace each for Brian October (33 & 39) and Akeem Drakes (6 & 57). Kevin Barrow had opened the scoring for the winners.
Conquerors captain Pernell Schultz led from the front with a hat-trick in his sides triumph over GFC.
Schultz was on target in the 3rd, 7th and 13th minute. Brandon Joseph supported well with a double in the 31st and 58th, while touching in one each were Delmar Hamilton (5) and Darrell Fraser (53).
The combination of Keson Dey (25, 33 & 44) with a hat-trick and Deon Alfred (26) was all Uprising needed to overcome Flamingo.
Santos’ Deshawn Mike with a double, 31st and 52nd minute, Kevon Leote in the 38th and Jerome Lindell 25th did the job for them against Camptown.
Thomas United’s win over Riddim Squad was sealed via a double off the boot of Joshua Britton (10 & 25) and efforts each by Kevin Andrews (27) and Darrell Fraser (62).
Riddim Squad’s consolation goal was netted by Lindell Williams in the 46th minute.
