The inevitable of which I warned last week has happened. The nation must now conduct its state funeral in dignity. But this is not the end of the visit by the grim reaper. Another well known figure is going to be called but this time he would be responsible for his own demise.
A vehicle can be lethal. In this case, the risk would be taken when in a tight fix, this person is going to do the unimaginable. The nation will mourn again.
**
Another gun attack would be executed in the heart of the city but this time there will be a swift retaliation. The incident will see a petty thief, this time armed with a gun, attempting to relieve the female relative of a known individual.
The police would be slow to react but the relative would not. The news would make the headlines and the police would mount another search for an illegal gun.
**
Fire of uncertain origin will strike in a squatting area. Some are going to blame electricity theft but others will say that a young child started the blaze.
There will be no fatalities but such a loss will be hard for the victims to take.
**
Another case of domestic abuse and another victim would sustain severe injuries. The victim was already at the centre of a well-publicised issue but nature has a way of making people forget, sometimes to their own detriment.
