Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Manniram Prashad met with Zambia’s Ambassador to Guyana, Alber Muchanga and Volodymyr Lakomov, Ambassador of Ukraine to Guyana, yesterday.
The meeting was convened at Minister Prashad’s South Road Office.
At the meetings, both Ambassadors expressed their respective country’s interest in investing in Guyana and the strengthening of existing cooperation ties.
They also showed great appreciation for Guyana’s tourism product and signaled their interest in visiting tourist sites that they have not yet seen.
Minister Prashad welcomed the non-resident Ambassadors to Guyana and pledged his Ministry’s support to the initiatives of both Ukraine and Zambia.
