– by offering massive discounts on services, feeding the needy
Stainmasters Ltd., located at Aubrey Barker Road, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown, celebrated its 16th Anniversary in fine style yesterday by initiating a feeding programme for the underprivileged, and offering significant discounts on products and services for their many supporters.
Managing Director Anthony Noble said that the feeding programme was part of the entity’s mandate to give back to its customers and to the less privileged.
And, as a bonus for customers, his business has initiated a promotion that allows a 16 percent discount on all services and labour costs on carpets. “There is also a five-percent reduction on all products sold by the entity, while a massive reduction sale will be created soon to ‘get rid of old stocks’,” Noble said.
Yesterday staff members and the Managing Director took to the streets in vehicles to dole out a sumptuous meal to street children, the homeless on the pavements, and to practically anyone who seemed to be in need of a solid, nutritious meal.
The lunch package consisted of cakes and various desserts, raisin rice, baked chicken and other delicacies, followed by various fruit juices. As stated by Noble, the entity will launch a special distribution line this year, which will allow the introduction of a brand of services and top-notch materials and products that are vital to ‘superb cleaning’.
New cleaning machinery will also be introduced, as well as special chemicals particularly sought after by smaller entities.
Noble noted that, since its 17 years of operation, the entity has established its reputation in almost every imaginable area in Guyana.
He noted that later this year a special website will be launched, which will provide online shopping for its cleaning products, and provide valid information to enable customers to better access its services.
He noted that the entity is more focused on meeting the needs of society than on making a profit, and has over the years been operating in the interest of its customers.
Noble noted that the feeding programme and discounts will be made an annual feature. (Alex Wayne)
