Rivalry in the Fruta / East Bank Football Association under-13 league is set to continue today and tomorrow at the Grove ground with a number of matches.
In latest play, Bagotstown Pacesetters defeated Samatta Point 2-1 and Grove continued their winning ways by hammering Craig 6-2.
Godfrey Lynch in the 24th and Jose Fraser in the 59th were the players on target for Bagotstown. Samatta Point got their consolation goal from Namal Europe in the 26th minute.
Shelton Joe was in ripping form for Grove as he fired in a hat-trick in his teams 6-2 triumph over Craig.
Joe found the back of the nets in the 9th, 26th and 28th. Mervin Matthews tucked in a double in the 15th and 23rd, while Lloyd Matthews scored the other from the penalty spot in the 32nd. Shaquille Evans netted both goals for Samatta Point in the 31st and 39th minute.
