Dear Editor,
I would like to advise Mr. Dennis V. Debidin, who penned an article in the SN (27-02-09), that lands on both sides of the Berbice River are transported lands.
Our caring government paid present-day prices for the area of land used for the Berbice River Bridge Access Road. With regards to another letter, published (name given as Abraham David) in the SN (03.03.09), I would like to say that the land is to be developed into a business and housing area. Anyone can visit the #38 Neighbourhood Democratic Council and can enquire about these lands.
Finally, I would like to meet both of these writers (if they exist at all) at the above-named NDC, because I have my suspicions from where these seeds being sown are coming from.
Berbician
