Brian Allen was returned unopposed for his fourth one year term as President of the Roraima Bikers Club (RBC) when that entity held their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday last at the club’s headquarters, Ketley Street, Charlestown.
Former national cricketer Kenneth Wong took up the post as first Vice President with Mark Conway and Royston Wright serving as second and third Vice Presidents, respectively.
Theresa Pemberton is the Secretary while Lynette Haynes will serve as Treasurer and Christopher Marques, Assistant Secretary Treasurer. The six Committee Members are George Emerson, Clifford Johnson, Samuel Barker, Marlon Humphrey, Paul Giddings and Ben Yhap.
The club’s leading cyclist, Darren Allen was elected Club Captain with Colin Barker as his deputy.
RBC holds the distinction of being the only club in Guyana with branches in Linden and Berbice. Emerson and Barker are the coordinators for Linden while Yhap and Marcel Crawford will do similar duties in Berbice. Club Patron is George Humphrey.
