Due to the inclement weather on Monday, the first round of the Guyana Cricket Board and Ministry of Education Inter-Secondary Schools Under-15 forty-over cricket competition which was scheduled for Monday, was postponed and will now take place today and tomorrow.
Colin Europe, Secretary of Competitions Committee, had indicated via a press release the change in the match day and forwarded the new fixtures.
Play is set for a 10:00am start with West Demerara playing Bartica at the Bartica ground, East Bank Demerara vs. Upper Demerara River & Kwakwani at the Police ground and South Georgetown against East Coast Demerara at Lusignan today.
Tomorrow, Essequibo Islands vs. Essequibo Coast at Wakenaam and North Georgetown battle East Georgetown at Police.
Round two is fixed for Friday, with the winners meeting, while the semi-finals will be contested next Monday at Police and DCC grounds with the final set for February 18 at the National Stadium at Providence.
