Kendra Petrie is desperately seeking the assistance of the public to locate her daughter, 12-year-old Jennicia Petrie.
According to the girl’s mother, her daughter left their 24 Sancho Street, Cane Grove, East Coast Demerara home at about 10:45hrs to collect a bottle of tonic in the vicinity of the routes #32 and #42 minibus parks.
According to the distraught woman, the individual to whom she was sent, upon inquiry, never saw the young girl, but she did reportedly show up at her mother’s stepfather’s home in Albouystown. He, unfortunately, was not at home at the time.
A neighbour reportedly confirmed that she was there at the man’s home.
The next sighting was at a residence in Middle Road, La Penitence, at a location where she took lessons. The teacher’s daughter is reportedly her friend.
It was confirmed that she was there asking for her friend, but did not manage to access her.
This was at about 12:30hrs. Since then, her movements are unknown.
She was last seen wearing a red pants, a red and white top, and a pair of black shoes.
Anyone with useful information regarding the whereabouts of Jennicia Petrie is being kindly asked to call telephone numbers 692-8607 or 653-7012, or contact the nearest police station.
