Some 80 children from the One Mile community and its environs were each treated to a dose of pure love when the “Pure Love Organization,” a subsidiary of the Universal Peace Federation based in Georgetown, held its very first Christmas party at the One Mile “KIDS FIRST” Centre last Sunday.
The lucky children were each presented with gifts and snacks by members of the Pure Love organization.
According to executive member Osei Browne, “Pure Love” promotes peace and abstinence, and also encourages good character and morals.
Before receiving their gifts, the children engaged in carol singing, led by executives of the organization.
