Just when people are gearing to welcome the New Year there will be some grief in the form of carelessness. Another fire will strike in the city but this time it will claim no life as has been the case last week.
A neighbour will rush to the rescue of a child and that will be the most gracious thing to happen.
**
Desperation will lead to a brazen attempt at a robbery but the execution will be less than successful, because of the speedy response of the police who have been on guard throughout the season.
However, that will lead to a mass of robberies in the New Year and even Old Year’s Night because of the desire by the criminals to have spending money.
The one good thing is that the banks, in the coming months, are going to allow people to move around with less cash.
**
Beware!! A major motor accident is going to occur because the drunk driver of a car is going to commit a serious error in judgement. Instead of slowing down he will accelerate into a crowd.
It will take everything to save his sorry behind since he failed to heed the advice of the Baccoo. That will be one fellow who will be glad to see the police.
