Church’s Chicken has scored their first goal with the Kashif and Shanghai Football tournament when Director Gregory De Gannes handed over a cheque for an undisclosed amount yesterday at their main branch, Middle and Camp Streets, Georgetown.
De Gannes disclosed that Church’s was happy to be associated with the Kashif & Shanghai Organisation and this is a way of them continuing their support for the development of sports in Guyana. “We look forward to bigger and better things in 2009.”
De Gannes reminded that this was not the first time they were supporting football, earlier this year they had given a substantial amount of sponsorship to the GFF for the Golden Jaguars.
They have also been involved in supporting cricket and basketball among other sports.
Church’s, since opening their doors for business in Guyana back in 2006, has set up three branches in Berbice (Rosignol, New Amsterdam & Corriverton), one in Linden and two in Georgetown. Next year the company will be opening Mario’s Pizza opposite their main branch at Camp & Middle Streets.
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
